Scope, licence, service, limits
Scope
Stratum Finance provides general financial education and a request form for being matched with a licensed advisor. It gives no individualised advice on investment, tax, legal or insurance matters, and use of it creates no advisory, brokerage or fiduciary relationship.
Licence
You receive a limited, revocable licence to read the pages and to print or quote short excerpts for personal use, with credit. Automated collection, republication and commercial reuse need written permission requested through the contact page. Other rights in the content stay with us.
Calculator tolerances
Calculators run locally, and their assumptions are listed on the page. Output is only as good as the inputs and those assumptions: rates, timing and tax treatment are simplified. Use results to compare scenarios, not to file, sign or commit money.
Matching service
Free to you, no obligation. A member of our team reviews the request and makes contact to confirm the need. A licensed advisor whose specialty is this site's subject area is then matched to you, and the request is released to three advisors at most. Advisors are independent, the site is not party to any advisory agreement, and fees are agreed with the advisor after their own disclosures. The right to decline a request is reserved.
Advisor accounts
Sign-up requires three inputs: name, work email, CRD number. Pass conditions: CRD found in the SEC's public IAPD record, currently registered, name matching. A fail can be followed by an application, reviewed by a person. Billing: membership and per-request purchases by card via a payment provider, with fees shown before purchase. Introduction is not a client guarantee. Accounts can be refused or suspended. Advisors are independent and answer for their own compliance, including registration and solicitation rules.
Availability
The site is provided as is. Pages, calculators and the form can be slow, unavailable or changed without notice, and no uptime is promised.
Liability
Within the limits of applicable law, we are not liable for loss or damage from using the site, relying on its content or calculators, or dealing with advisors and other third parties. Rights the law does not let us limit are unaffected.
Revisions
These terms change when this page changes. Continued use after a change counts as acceptance of the current text.
